The project had several objectives:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. 10 LGBT groups operating locally and to whom we provided supplies needed to prevent COVID-19<\/li>\n
  2. Increase engagement between LGBT groups and LGBT communities through new digital channels<\/li>\n
  3. Improving acceptance towards LGBT people through media articles<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    In the first two months of the project, MozaiQ held 10 strategic planning sessions with 10 active groups across Romania to consult, coordinate and develop on the needs of the LGBTQ+ community. We provided support to these groups to restart offline organizing with a kit containing masks, disposable gloves, thermal scanners, disinfectant gel and a Zoom account.<\/p>\n

    In the following months, we organized Pride Village online<\/a><\/span>, a safe space for LGBTQ+ people to discuss community needs and actions. Thus, 5 webinars co-moderated by MozaiQ were organized. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    In October MozaiQ organized 20 events as part of LGBT History Month 2020, culminating in the first DIGITAL PRIDE<\/span><\/strong><\/a>, where the HISTORY OF BUCHAREST PRIDE<\/strong><\/span><\/a>was presented, as well as the HISTORY OF LGBT CLUBS IN BUCHAREST<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. We also organized a Parlamentary Forum<\/strong><\/a><\/span>in December, attended by 3 candidates for the parliamentary elections. <\/p>\n

    In the last months of the project, MozaiQ and several collaborators wrote articles that were collected in a book and translated into English, Hungarian and Romani. In June, all these efforts have resulted in the launch of the book #\u00ceMPREUN\u0102 #EGY\u00dcTT #TOGETHER #KHETANES – LGBTQI+ Communities in Romania<\/em><\/span>.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
